Green Day drummer Tré Cool made a special appearance at the Honda Center on Wednesday, taking in the Anaheim Ducks’ matchup against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The rock star attended the game alongside his wife, Sara Rose Lipert, and was part of the pregame festivities. Before the action began, he was featured on the arena’s big screen and helped kick things off by pressing the ceremonial button that started the pregame show.
During his visit, Cool also received a personalized Ducks jersey and spent time enjoying the atmosphere, even crossing paths with the team’s mascot, Wild Wing.
On the ice, the game turned into a tight contest that ultimately went to overtime. The Flyers came out on top with a 3–2 victory, spoiling the night for the home crowd and their celebrity guest.
